State Farm® Insurance Agent Kim Bates

"I have been with Kim Bates office for YEARS. I recently fell into a financial hole (which i stated to her and mind you I have never had this happen.. I’m usually good at paying on time) and had let my insurance expire. I visited her office a few days ago to get things started back again and she told me that she couldn’t give me full coverage on my car anymore and that I needed to go to National General or Progressive. FALSE! I went to a different State Farm office and they gave me FULL COVERAGE on my car with NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER. On top of that it seemed like Kim didn’t even want me in her office, I had to sit in the front lobby the whole time! I’m been a loyal State Farm customer for a long time, it’s sad that I got treated that way."

"I used to work as a contractor doing fire damage repairs and storm damage repairs and had hundreds of jobs over the years that were hail damage on roofs that I had to repair. So I know hail damage when I see it. It's very distinct in its appearance and I have hail damage on my roof and State Farm refused to cover it and Kim Bates made no effort at all to help in my claim. So I'm very disappointed in their service and feel like they've got the attitude that all they have to do is just refuse to pay and you can get a lawyer if you want to fight them but they've got plenty of lawyers on retainer to keep you in court until you quit so it's pointless. If I could give a rating lower than one I certainly would."
